Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for My Roo, operated by My Roo LLC (“My Roo,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). It is part of our Terms & Conditions.

Overview of Fees

  • One-time setup fee: [ ]. The setup fee covers reviewing your intake form, preparing your personalized setup, connecting Roo to your stores and services, and your onboarding session.
  • No monthly or recurring fee. My Roo does not charge an ongoing subscription.
  • Optional additional help: [ ] per hour. Help beyond the included setup and onboarding is billed hourly, either in advance or after the session, as agreed with you beforehand.

Payment is arranged directly with My Roo, and we may later accept card payments through Stripe.

Setup Fee Refunds

Hourly Fees for Additional Help

  • Hourly fees are non-refundable once the time has been used.

Rescheduling and Missed Onboarding Sessions

  • If you miss a scheduled onboarding session without notice, we will offer one rescheduled session. If you miss the rescheduled session, or do not schedule one within [TBD: days to book — e.g. 30 days] of payment, we may treat the setup as complete and the setup fee becomes non-refundable.

If We Cannot Provide the Service

If we determine during or before onboarding that we cannot support your stores, services or needs, we may cancel and refund the setup fee in full or in part, at our discretion, based on the work already completed.

Cancelling the Service

You can stop using the Service at any time by replying STOP, texting Roo or emailing [email protected]. When you cancel, we will stop acting on your accounts. Your usernames and passwords are held in your own secure Grok Bot vault, which is gated by your own Grok Bot login. My Roo LLC has no access to it. We do not hold your passwords. Cancelling after your onboarding session does not entitle you to a refund of the setup fee. Because there is no recurring My Roo fee, there is nothing further to cancel with us. Remember to cancel your Grok subscription and any delivery memberships directly with those services if you no longer want them.

We may also end the Service as described in our Terms & Conditions. If we end the Service for reasons other than your violation of the Terms before your onboarding session, we will refund the setup fee in full.

Third-Party Charges Are Not Refundable by My Roo

My Roo does not charge, collect or control payments made to third-party services, including your Grok subscription (the AI service Roo runs on); Instacart, DoorDash and other delivery service memberships and fees; store and restaurant charges for products and menu items; delivery fees; tips; service fees; taxes; deposits; and cancellation or no-show fees. These charges are not refundable by My Roo, including when an order or reservation was affected by an error. Refunds, credits or cancellations of these charges are handled under each third-party service’s own policies. Roo will reasonably help you request a refund or credit from the third-party service where possible, but we cannot guarantee the outcome.

Processing Refunds

Approved refunds will be sent back through the original payment method within [TBD: days to refund — e.g. 10 business days] of approval. Processing times after that may vary depending on the payment service or your financial institution.
